Chirantan is a Full-time MBA student at the University of British Columbia Sauder School of Business, Vancouver, Canada. He worked as a Revenue Officer for the Government of India with more than five years of experience. His organization, the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, which falls under the Department of Revenue of the Ministry of Finance, administers the GST (Goods and Service Tax) and Customs laws throughout the Country.

His stint in the Government started in 2018 in the Grade of Inspector and he received a promotion to the Grade of Superintendent in March 2023. He oversaw the introduction of GST in India and was instrumental in the initiation of the GST Audit in 2019. He has been trained on GST audits by the National Academy of Customs, Indirect Tax, and Narcotics. He achieved the 1st position in the Audit Performance Index across the country twice in a row.

Chirantan is a Professional Singer and Music Producer. He has created music under the banner "RoughSheet".

Chirantan likes to work for the community because this is ultimately what matters the most.
